| Someone might have copy and pasted something from a site, because the first person to write something on here has the exact same words as iGod! | |
| Between the Buried and Me – The Primer Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think just looking at the song as a whole (instead of trying to pick apart every stanza) and understanding that "the Primer" in settler's days related all their lessons back to religion definitely explains a lot. | |
| Between the Buried and Me – The Primer Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The Primer was a book used in early American settler days that taught basic reading skills, with all the sentences relating back to religion. Tommy listing off all the things that children are taught in our day in our unofficial "Primer" compared to back in the settler's days, and then titling it "The Primer" it would make sense. That's my two cents, as well. |

| Screaming Mechanical Brain – There Is No God In Space Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Reverend John [the man who WROTE these lyrics] told me this song has nothing to do with God at all. It's about the fact that our society agrees on what's right, and what's wrong. This is one of those issues where no one knows exactly what IS right/wrong. Is there God in space? No one knows for a FACT; therefore, no one knows what to believe. |
