I LOVE this song... i interpreted this as he saying how classic american girls are.... how everyone would love to be one/have one. He is in awe of this girls who have it all and are not happy... this is the perfect song to have on in the car, roof down along the beach front on a warm evening... |

i downloaded this song by accident one day and have NEVER looked back! My goodness... it really reminds you what good songwriters are still out there... The funny thing is how many different ways it can be associated... My friend recently left to move to another country and i heard this one day when we were online talking... she really wanted me to go with her but i wasnt ready yet to end my relationship as she was... and i really associated the words to her, as if she wasnt real i would have made her up... i wish i could follow her to the shores of freedom - her country... by the beach she came too soon as if i had met her when i was ready to end my relationship we would have been better together and done more.... and she always holds me up when im falling... its funny really.... but this such a magical song and i am so glad i downloaded it... :o) |
