i really love all the 672 theories. i'm quite taken by all of them. but to me, i felt a sense of longing sadness and beauty in this song. i was reminded of passing of time when she said 672. like it was an amount of seconds or minutes or even hours, days, months, years till something will or since some thing did happen. i do like the theory on the first page about her dad though. i so hope that the mystery is solved soon... but then again i don't. maybe the beauty rest some where in the fact that it's the unkown. maybe beauty is unknown. |

This song is so great and yes, i love how all of it has to do with mostly poe's work. and hey redrum! can any one say the shining. :D woah where to start.. all of this is pretty much poe: rue morgue, hearts under the floor board, nevermore, lenore, the man whose used up, mask of crimson death (the mask of red death i believe its called). so yeah, i love this song alot. and the band is pretty much amazing. |

my i ask why some one who hates mcr is looking at there lyrics? if you dont like them, fine... just why go out of the way to post crap about them if you dont like them. i dont see the point of going to a band you dont like. clicking on their lyrics and posting crap about them and their listeners. i also hate when people are so hotheaded and arrogant that they dont even give my chemical romance a chance.. they just label them and their listeners. if you actually took the time to listen to them you would see how wrong you were. please do me a favor. *listen to them *look into the meaning of their songs *consider that their music has saved so many lives (mine included) --- and then, and only then, you can see if you like them or not. if you dont liek them still.. ok. thats your tatse. but if you then go around and post crap about them and people who liek them.. well your a jerk. i love mcr.. please continue to make beautiful music. |

i read in many magazines that this albulm rips off mcr many times, and yes, after reading those articles.. i see many similarities between black parade and this. and the whole grudge thing--> GET OVER IT! it wasn't even like som e thing bad happened. Gerard sobered up and Bert hated him for it ! |

| all i know is this song is amazing, there are no words to describe it. Gerard sings it brilliantly. he puts so much feeling into it. this is one of my favorites. it has somethign about it... as soon as i heard it i immidiatly went and learned it on my guitar. i love it so much. my chemical romance contributes so much as a band and they help there fans soo much. mcr has helped me soo much ... and they , through their songs, give me hope. seeing them live was the best thing i had ever experienced .. and im seeing them again in a few days ! | |

These lyrics are really off.... and "imnotokay_mcr", this song is about Gerard's past. His manager talks about it on Life On The Murder Scene (the DVD) Gerard had hit rock bottom and was just drinking and doing drugs. He had contemplated suicide and called his manager for a few nights. Ome night things were so bad that his manager had to keep him on the phone so he wouldnt go back to sleep. It was 4 am and they talked for many hours. I would suggest buying the DVD if you havent already, it is AMAZING! |

continued*** i forgot to mention a main part before. "and we all get together when the funeral ends.. and we all like to party when we bury our friends." the character is showing how the only time when they see each other is when they get together for a funeral. then they all go out to catch up on things after wards. then they all go there serperate ways, he stays, and he watches every one leave t ogo on with there life while he is awaiting the next funeral so they can all see each other again. |

| I agree with the ripper. This song , in my interpretation, means that after high school this group of friends went there seperate ways. All of them changed and left there community to do something else. This character was the only one who stayed in his town and didnt change. Years later they were all reunited at a mutual friends funeral. I too believe that this character liked or likes this one person in the song and he has a chance to see her again after 8 years at this funeral. Then she leaves and things stay the same. Then nine years later "Its been nine bitter years since i;ve been seeing your face.." he sees that person again. Then, as before, this person leaves and he believes that he will never make anything out of himself and that he will always remain in this place: "...And i will die in this place". Then after ten years he really misses this person and after they leave yet again he is afraid on never seeing them again. i also agree with vampirexxrevenge . =) either way, what ever this means, i love this song. my chemical romance is truly a great band and i am glad to be a part of the group of fans that were with them from the beggining. | |
