Basically, a song about someone not getting over someone he/she loved. "This distance, this dissolution. I cling to memories while falling." States how they are so far apart and the individual in question is upset about it and is still thinking about the times they spent with each other. "Sleep brings release and the hope of a new day. Waking the misery of being without you." Could be about when they wake up and feel as if they're right there next to him/her and everything is alright but it's not. "Surrender, i give in. Another moment is another eternity." Sounds like they're about to give up because another moment without him/her is painful. "You know me, you know me all too well. My only desire to bridge our division. In sorrow, i speak your name. And my voice mirrors, mirrors my torment." The effect of the breakup is painful and the individual is heartbroken and longs to be back together with him/her. "Your picture, a bitter memory." Looking back at the times they had, it just wasn't meant to be. And why they broken up turns the memories into 'a bitter memory'. |

It appears to be a song about depression. "imprisoned, inside this mind hiding behind the empty smiles" This states a sign of depression. People with depression ususally put on 'fake smiles' to hide the fact that they are feeling down so people won't bother them about what's up with them. "Running, Always running into the distance Stop me, Before I bleed again" This could be the person always running away from their problems and trying to hide them, yet at the same time, they hope to find help. "the echos of my voice follow me down the shadows I cast follow me down" The individual is alone and their depression, or even regrets or mistakes, follow him/her around like a shadow. "there must be serenity" They hope someday they will feel happier about themselves, and the pain or depression will fade a way and become a better person. |

In my opinion it's about someone breaking up with someone they thought they'd be with for a long time, and just giving up on love as a result, but the other person can't deny what they have done... "From yourself you can't run away" "This revelation is the death of ignorance" Looking at the above line, the person could be saying that he/she will not be consumed by what they saw in that particular person because he/she was blinded by love and couldn't see them for what they really are. "Open up your heart and gaze within" The person in question wants the other person to see how black-hearted or cold-hearted they are. Either that or it's a track about losing faith in society or the establishment. |

I have to say I'm one of those people who quickly assumed it's a love song. It just seems to be. Liked the suggestion about it being God. "Your silence haunts me But still I longer for you" Looking at it from the God perspective, it conveys someone wanting an answer from God about something whether it's a terroist attack or famine, and how they still hope God will save them from impending doom. One of the best KsE has produced. |

| To me it's one of these songs that you just listen to and interpret what sort of song this could be. I see it as an instrumental love song. It just has that romantic atmosphere to it. | |
