when it comes to lyrics, omar never really writes much of a comprehensible song. all short, metaphoric phrases with spanish and other random things about surgery and other reoccuring themes mixed in. usually their albums have a concept (almost always involving the death of a main character.) TMV really let go of trying to make sense lyrically- ATDI lyrics were somewhat easy to follow. Its more about the music and the way the melody of the lyrics fits in with them. |
