| The Beatles – And I Love Her Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Whenever I hear this song, I think of Aladdin telling Genie about how fantastic Jasmine is. Hahahaha. Seriously. Just imagine it. HOW ENDEARING, AMIRIGHT? (Just take out the goofiness of Disney and replace it with something more mystical and heartbreakingly beautiful.) |

Okay. First off, I think /L/ucy in the /S/ky with /D/iamonds was influenced by LSD - I'm not convinced that it's just a mere coincidence that the nouns in the title spell out the acronym 'LSD'. However, I also think it's ridiculous that people are saying "UGH he couldn't have written this without LSD" because that's insulting. All you need is an imagination, and John Lennon had one. And Lewis Carroll had one. It's not SUPER hard to think creatively "like a child", even when given whatever conservative era. I sound like I'm contradicting myself, but I tried my best to communicate what I believe about this song. Speaking of Lewis Carroll, there is no fucking way he was an LSD user. Carroll, aka REVEREND Charles Dodgson, was born in 1832 - LSD usage was obviously very rare during his time seeing as it was NOT synthesized until the 1930s which came 40 years after his death in 1898. Carroll was just trying to write a fun childrens' story. (I know that stating he's a reverend does not dismiss his 'odd' relationship with Alice Liddell, but weren't relationships of that nature fairly normal in that era? For example, I think Poe married his 13 year old cousin when he was 26, or something.) |

| Well, I don't think this is a biblical reference, because surely, the Bible never mentions Wonderbread. | |

Revision: Beetles. In my carpet. UNDER my feet. They come out at night? That last part is tricky. |

| The Blood Brothers – USA Nails Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Operator-rator, won't you tell me again? Operator-rator, yeah, you're my only friend." Aww, that part gets me. | |
| The Blood Brothers – Ambulance vs. Ambulance Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Ambulance X steals you away. Ambulance Y kills you off or brings you back home with enough pain to realize that you are emotionally dead. Everyone's got the right idea when they say it's about how the human nature can become addicted to vanity or sex. | |

My friend and I used to sing this song loudly in the halls of our school, while he played the guitar. It's so obnoxious. I love it. He moved 38743 miles away, though. Great times, nonetheless. I agree with Cyrus and Jeff's interpretation of the lyrics. |

| Test Icicles – Party On Dudes (Get Hype) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is possibly my favorite song on For Screening Purposes Only. Shame they broke up afterwards, and another shame that there are no comments left for it. My interpretation of the song would be... well, get the party started? Pretty simple. I love it. | |

BEETLES. IN MY CARPET. AT MY FEET. THEY COME OUT AT NIGHT. Goodness. Well, it's about beetles. In his carpet. At his feet. And they come out at night. Brilliant. |
