i could swear that the line is "man, i'll freak you out" and "no sex, no drugs, no luck". i could be totally wrong but when i listen to the song, that's exactly what it sounds like.

The Killers – Where the White Boys Dance Lyrics 19 years ago
this song is awesome! brandon flowers sings it with such emotion, especially "it's the calm before another storm."

but this song is probably about a woman discovering her husband is cheating on her with a man.

"They hug in silence as the sun sets on their empty street. Her suspicions, well they’re rising high. And the man who sweeps him off she doesn’t meet." she's suspicious about her husband and doesn't know who the man he's seeing is. but she has to know.

"She walks inside and pours a strong one to put her mind at ease. It’s the calm before another storm." she pours a very strong drink just to calm herself down. but this temporary calm is just the preparation for a huge shock that she's sure to get when she discovers the truth about her husband.

"Her brain shifts from the whiskey to the keys." she stops thinking about her drink and decides to go to the "place where the white boys dance" (which i take for a gay bar but could be TOTALLY off) in her car. she obviously cannot handle being unsure about her husband. she wants to confirm her suspicions.

"Her heart is racing. She phones a friend and says “I’m in an awful place. That fool’s been messing round on me. I’ve seen it in is eyes and on his face.”" she obviously sees him with the other man and she is flipping out (hence the "heart is racing"). maybe her car breaks down (i don't know) and she has to call her best friend (possibly the narrator). she's either at a gay bar or just in a bad neighborhood and wants to go home. She explains that her husband has been cheating on her and she knows it's true.

"Hold on a minute, you’re talking crazy. Don’t be that jealous, girl. Just tell Levon you need an hour or two, cause we’re gonna go and change somebody’s world." the friend (a.k.a. the narrator) is telling this woman that she's being paranoid and that no one likes an overly-jealous girl. The "Levon" part i'm not really sure about. he could be her husband and the two friends are going to get back at him but that seems like a stretch.

"Take me to the place where the white boys dance. Take me to the place where they run and play. My baby is gone, you might have a chance. Just take me to the place where the white boys dance. It’s the calm before another storm. It’s the calm before another storm. Her brain shifts from the whisky to the keys." the fact that the "it's the calm before another storm" part is restated could possibly suggest that the whole senario of the woman seeing her husband cheating was all in her mind. this would support the idea of her being paraiod.

alright, that was just a really long interpretation and it probably wasn't right. either way, it's an awesome song... whatever it means.
