I can sort of relate to this song. It's not as dramatic as what all you've been through but it just reminds me of when I was in grade eight, and in love with this kid in grade seven who loved me too. It sounds pathetic but there's more to the story than you think. |

I agree with G.E.R.M.S. from the first page. It also fits with "history's so strong" cos "history" has shown us that drikning and driving is a stupid thing to do and that it gets people killed.Your also obviously saving the population by not drinking and driving. |

This song is just so beautifully obscure. It speaks of the end of an era in someones life that no one really wants to happen. If some one was trying to leave part of their past behind but people from that past keep on reminding them of what has happened. I also agree with lady kiddo about how endings start with answers. |

Aswell as being about feminism, couldn't this song be about anyone trapped in a catch-22 situation. If whats confining you is a glass celing, if you try to break out of it, you'll end up getting cut by the glass woudn't you. I think that this song might even be about an abusive relationship full of infidelity. "how am I going to know you're letting me down". |

I heard somewhere that this song is about John's heroin addiction. This is probably because of the lyrics "This medicated state of mind you find is overrated". Even after hearing this definition this songs still makes me think of someone who has made it big for a while and felt that they had a great future ahead of them until something happens that makes them lose it all. |
