"You left me here with the coldest of feelings Weight, kind, depression." Does anyone have an idea of what this line might mean? |

Anyone wanna take a crack at what the line "tonight the bulls are in Brooklyn and you're still at home" means? My first thought that it was was referring to the basketball team. |

Wow, Skettio, I'm not sure if I could possibly like your insight any more than I already do. I especially like what you said about the "This is a love song in my own way" line. From what I got from it before was what you said about it being unique and all, but I did not all think about it that the only love song he could write was one where he doesn't actually get the girl. Good stuff. |

The tree I used to lay beneath is tea stained red From sour bottled baby girl with eyes the size of baby worlds Someone said earlier that this line was self explanitory, but I'm just not getting it. The "eyes the size of baby worlds" part is obvious, but someone wanna help with the rest? |

| Fall Out Boy – You're Crashing, but You're No Wave Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Okay, if in the first chorus they say "To his closing argument 12 hearts beat in favor" referring to the Defense Attourney. So that would mean that the jury is agreeing with him, right? So why then is the defendant found guilty? I'm missing something I'm sure. |

Everyime I hear the opening to this song, I just want to rock out to it. Ahhhhhh so good! Maybe I'm over analyzing, but I cannot figure out the line "Best friends, ex-friends till the end, better off as lovers, not the other way around". What does that mean? I feel like there's some really clever play on words with the other way around part that I'm missing. Any help? |

| Fall Out Boy – The (After) Life of the Party Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I love that part in the middle of the song where he is repeating the first verse, only now he is rocking out to it. It's so awesome. You can tell he's got so much emotion right there. | |

I'm thinking that car crash heart is referring to a few things: My first thought is that it's saying that whenever he gets sad or has his heart broken (or destroyed like a car crash), he sings about it and makes songs about it, and that's what everyone likes to hear. Everyone can relate to a song about having your heart broken in one way or another. Those are the kinds of songs that can bring him success, so "Long Live It" I had never heard of the car crash they were in, but yeah, I guess it could go to that. I was also thinking that it's referring to all the car crash references in previous songs. "We're making out inside crashed cars" (Of All the Gin Joints...) and the verse in "Tell That Mick..." where he's talking about a girl crashing into a tree. (I'm sure there are more examples that I can't think of right now. Just my thoughts. |

Ahhhh I love this song so much. As for those corrections, I have to admit that it really does sound like "Dollar for your INSIDES" and "ALONE together we're alone". But honestly, I really think that "Penny for your thoughts but a dollar for your insights, or a fortune for your disaster" is an awesome line. It works better that way. Same with the other one. "All together we're alone" is so good. |

| Fall Out Boy – I've Got All This Ringing in My Ears and None on My Fingers Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't know where they got that guitar line you are talking about, but it's so damn catchy. And am I the only one that gets amused when Patrick starts singing along to the guitar after the second chorus? I find it hilarious cause I'm singing along to it too. | |
| Fall Out Boy – The Carpal Tunnel of Love Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I really like this song. It just really really irks me that before looking up the lyrics here, the only words I could understand were "Stop by this disaster town" and "Whoaah" | |

I love FOB and have like 35 of their songs on my iPod (before this CD), but I don't know about this "heychris" story thing that you guys are talking about (Sorry if I'm not "legit" enough for you). Anyone care to explain? And also, can someone explain what the Closer reference is? I've never seen the movie. |
