| Imogen Heap – Wait It Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| And just to clear it up, in the message of the song of getting over a relationship gone bad, being more cynical would be more likely than less. | |
| Imogen Heap – Wait It Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| She is saying "From now on more cynical" not "none more cynical". Aside from the latter not making any sense, it's just her delivery that sounds like "none." | |

| Basically, I pictured this album as a concept album about the time that Year Zero by NIN takes place. This song is about Niggy Tardust's return to where he came from from a long exile (a convict colony, or a place where he was taught how ugly the world can get (think, what kind of things are going on in Year Zero where that kind of thing shows? Angry sniper?)). The chorus is pretty much his return and him saying "I'm back, I'm ready to take my place don't get in my way and spread the word with as much emphasis as you can." The second verse is pretty much his ego showing through, and the final verses really give away where he's been and what he's seen. A great song and a great album. | |

| This song highly metaphorical. Sticking with the story of the album, this is about the point where The Angry Sniper realizes what he has been doing for his country, and doesn't like the idea of it. He's become so desensitized by war and anger and violence that he can't feel anything anymore. It's about the point when The Angry Sniper begins hating his country for what it has done to him and the rest of the world. | |

| It's amazing how short sighted people are. It's not about LSD, Shrooms or for that matter any kind of drug. I would think it is extremely obvious but apparently all of you are one track minded or completely oblivious. | |

This song is a parody of the world at this moment. The title is supposed to imply that people are getting more and more concerned with fashion than the content of what they consume. It's also playing on the degredation of the human mind. Chino did say something about the beauty and perfection of a female, and this song is a parody, saying that the female is being further and further desensitized to everything. Those who say it is garbage do not understand satyrical content. Its a play on the world being further degredated and desensitized. |

| Isis – Wrists of Kings Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song is about the decisions and possible bad choices someone (in this instance a king, or possibly even GWB) has to make before stepping down from power or popularity. "Now you're done Dry walls don't lean" Your reign has ended, but things built to last dont come apart easily. "Made from our History" You've done what you've done based on previous choices and decisions made before you were even concieved. "It bursts for them Boiling back Clouds warm the wrists of kings" But, unfortunately, everything is coming apart and destroying itself, even though you'd tried as hard as you could to keep it from happening, and the cover you made of who you really are is being pulled away, and as such you feel safe in an omnipotent, high up view. "Your shadow drain them fast Times unknown It still goes Creeping through heaping cracks Banning with inner love" The shadow you leave drains anyone to follow you of any glory or ideas of good deeds, and is leading people into times and themes unknown or unseen, and still the world moves on. The pain and terror is coming slowly into all parts of the world, and you try to stop it with good intentions, but cannot. "Chase Words say it Now they've found us Burning light Sworn I've had enough Bring them nothing They have Made it's way The nights" And so you leave them to chase someone who will help them and make the world better. What you've done doesnt need words, but gets them anyway, and people are beginning to find what you really are, wasting their lives and killing thousands, and now youre stepping down because youd had enough of pain and war. You leave them with nothing that they dont already have, and the "night"(pain and fear) have finally made its way into the world. |

| Isis – Wills Dissolve Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think this song is how the female the main character speaks of, and the thought of being watched has finally begun getting to him. The strength of the panopticon had shown, and even with their (the people being watched) souls 'en masse', the panopticon's view, which came down upon them in sheets of rain, dissolved their wills beneath the people of the panopticon's feet. | |

no, I'm quite sure Im on the right song (Third Eye) and I havent done acid in about a year. it is very obviously about how is father touched/raped him... "Dreaming of that face again It's bright and blue and shimmering Grinning wide And comforting me with its three warm and wild eyes" all he's thinking about is what his father does to him. bright, blue, shimmering...like happy, (possibly holding their breath) and shaking, as if ejaculating. comforting him because his father is trying to calm him, third eye referring to his penis. "On my back and tumbling Down that hole and back again Rising up And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye" on his back (for obvious reasons), getting up and wiping the cum from his face. "A child's rhyme stuck in my head It said that life is but a dream I've spent so many years in question to find I've known this all along" trying to get his mind off of whats happened/happening by reciting the row row row your boat rhyme in his head. he's constantly questioned why he's here... "So good to see you I've missed you so much So glad it's over I've missed you so much Came out to watch you play Why are you running?" he's very glad his father is done... "So good to see you once again I thought that you were hiding And you thought that I had run away Chasing the tail of dogma" finally glad to see his fathers penis, because he knows its no longer inside of him... I think you can figure the rest out for yourself. |

| actually, their singer (a friend of mine) put all of the songs on LimeWire under the title A Perfect Circle. Kind of a guerilla warfare tactic, because he knew people would find out LS was the band that did it. | |

| This song is about how Maynards father molested him. Im not going to go into describing every single sentence, but if you look at it with that point of view, it will make more sense than drugs. | |
