This would have to be the only song I've ever heard that made me cry. It's about the neglect elderly people feel from others because of their limited abilities and the altogether age difference. Just because you appear different, the person inside doesn't change, and no one likes to be ignored no matter what the age. It's basically saying that older people appreciate being treated like humans, other than children, and appreciate the feeling of equality to others. |

When I heard this song I didn't think once about the "heroin" idea. Mainly this song is about a womana who is very, for lack of a better word, experienced. It mentions "she can rock you in the nighttime 'til your skin turns red" and I don't know about the rest of you but when I hear that I something dirty pops into my head... as for the heroin concept I don't agree with it because it doesn't tie in with the rest of the song. |

Well I think that "pretty" isn't really a good word to decribe this song, and in general, it is about a couple killing themselves so they can continue their love beyond life. It is not the story of Romeo and Juliet it is simply an allusion to the play itself. And how does little miss know it all know exactly who killed themselves over what? |
