God, this song is so HORRIBLE but it cracks me up everytime! Who's that guy ranting about the "big bad wolf" or whatever? I don't think its Yorke...Whoever it is his voice is hilarious haha. |

I'm going to have this song played at my funeral. Its the ultimate funeral song. Uhm, time for my interpretation: When I was around 7 years old I used to believe everyone in the world has a book written about them, about their entire life. What they did, what they thought, etc. Each day is a paragraph long, each week is a paragraph, each month is a page, each year is a chapter...You get the general idea. This song sort of echoes my past belief but instead of having a book we all have videotapes that record our life. Maybe even a series of videotapes. So instead of just reading it, we have a series of tapes that lets us see ourselves in our worst of times! I hope I explained that clearly :S And could anyone tell me if that sort of thing has a name? |

Doesn't anyone else besides me think that Muse sound a lot like The Killers in this song? Especially Matthew Bellamy's singing. I'm pretty sure that the line, "You wait twenty years" is actually "You WASTE twenty years". Makes more sense, no? I don't know what this song is specifically about, but I get the general gist of it. He must be pretty pissed off. Lol, obviously, eh? |

I think this is a sweet song. Until the end...It gets a little tragic at the end. Anyway, this is evidently a Internets relationship/friendship. I know how he feels :( I used to have a Internets bf, and right before I realized how much I liked his personality and encouragement (Lol, even though the whole thing was stupid), he just blocked me and we never...Er...IM'd again. This song is one of my favorites. It has a special place in my heart :3 |

Come waste your millions here, secretly she says Another corporate show, a guilty conscience grows I'm beginning to think this song is about a famous musician/actor who is caught up in a money scandal. It makes sense... "She burns like the sun, and I can't look away She'll burn our horizons, make no mistake" Matt (That's his name, right? I'm new to Muse. I only heard about them a few days ago) is probably talking about someone whose famous, and everyone knows about her. Well, it's my favorite verse anyway^^ "Come let the truth be shared, no one ever dared To break these endless lies, secretly she cries" She is desperate to break the truth to everyone, but of course nobody will believe her. I love this song. It's so poetic and thought-provoking. |
