Heh. You guys are funny. Coke can give you a bloody nose, but it doesn't happen all that often unless you're snorting eightballs at a time. I guess I'm the only druggy who listens to Fall Out Boy. If you wanna fly with that idea, Hollywood is the land of cocaine ;). Either way.. I really like this song. The beginning really does sound like some crazy old song. Their new CD is pretty fucking amazing. A whole new sound and a whole lot more grown up. |

Oh isn't the truth? I'm 19, and I've ruined everything I got my hands on so far, lol. This growing up thing sucks.. no one should ever be a homeless kid. Not that that's what it means. I just know that at this point in my life, I've been through a hundred apartments, lived in some cars, made some generally shitty choices and just ruined a relationship (and now I have to prove myself, go figure).. and.. I can't wake up to these reminders of who I am: A failure of everything.. 18 going on extinct. I know my place, it's nowhere you should roam. It's perfect. |

This song touches my fucking heart. I'm surprised no one's commented it. To me, being full of bad decisions and mistakes, it's about leaving someone and realizing that you just walked out on something you'd rather you hadn't. "Nights can be so violent when beds become vacant. So now I've blown it once again.." and "And it's the hardest thing for me to shake." I don't know, maybe it's because I just walked out on the best relationship of my life, and that's all I can see in any song about regret. You say a bunch of mean shit, and you act like an asshole, just to come to realize that you never should have walked out the damn door. ...I'm an idiot, though, so don't listen to me. |
