K first off, this song is frikken amazing! And..Jesse wrote it cos his gf cheated on him with John Nolan from Taking Back Sunday when they were best friends. Apparently, Adam Lazzara did too (current lead singer of TBS) but Iunno if thats true. But yeah, Jesse wrote this for him, and then John, and supposedly Adam too, wrote 'Theres no "I" in team' as a response to the song. The lyrics: Is that what you call tact? You're as subtle as a brick in the small of my back So let's end this call and end this conversation - are from a phone call from John to Jesse, and that was the last time they ever spoke.
