I absolutely adore this song. I tried to explain my view of it to my friend the other day and she told me I was high. Anyway, I think the main concept has already been talked about in previous comments, but I also think that he's comparing the people in this story (including himself) to dogs. I think I see this song in a new lights, because last month my best friend, our friend who I'm pathetically in love with and I were driving around town and listening to this song and my best friend said "This song is about us." It made me think about how complicated our relationships are, and how I think that's the concept of the song. Sorry, I rambled. |

I love this song so much, especially the music after she says "wear your inside out" However, I don't think this song is about sex, and if it is, it definitely shows the beauty in it, which Imogen Heap is amazing at doing. I thought it said "I've seen their baby and I know it's real" Moreover; to me this song is about being surrounded by fake people in a worn-out place, and running away with the person you love. |

Maybe it's just me, but when I first heard this song I thought of a phone conversation, of course. Perhaps he is disoriented for some reason and is determined that she loves him, and that he's "coming over" but she didn't purposely give off those signs but misled him to think that. Just my opinion. |
