i went to paris last summer and it was a life changing experience, when i heard this song it just seemed perfect. the start, from the wailing to the heartreching instumental that slows, and then the "Hey!" and the drums, its like perfume going straight to your head and it reminds me so much of the dizzying beauty of paris. I love this song so much!!
The beat is like him just feeling so alive in this City, and "come come to joy" that bit just moves me so much and fills me with hope "it's down to you if you dare to come" it makes me want to just go back to Paris and stay there and start a revolution, fall in love, laugh, cry, live!!!! The end builds up to this rejoicing finale, and "it's all in the palm of your hand" - your future. If you dare to take the risks. I've seen the wolf twice and he is amazing, a true performer, and such a passionate songwiter and human being. "I'm really moving.." |
