| This song is very passionate, that much is obvious. The band members put a lot of energy into the work they do, and their material reflects this. The song is about trying to get by. In the music video for this song, there are images of the band playing interspersed with this group of four people driving along a beach, a shoreline. One of them is humorously wearing a zebra mask throughout. Two of them are leaning against each other, giving off a 'just married' feeling. The guy who is driving just smiles to himself as he drives, carefree, worry-free. The guy in the zebra mask does nothing. I think the song is about getting by in life, and how one is opposed in honest endeavors by malevolent elements. I think it ultimately has a positive outlook, I think it says 'everything's either already okay, or everything's going to be okay.' I like that. | |
