It seems pretty obvious to me that this song is about LA, not about a city in the midwest, as I don't see Chicago "sinking into the sea" anytime soon...Also, the references to fake love, skeleton town, and snakes in the grass sound like most people I've met in LA. "I can barely breathe Open your eyes Once and try to see" This has got to be a reference to LA smog....I rest my case. |
