| Dark New Day – Breakdown Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I beg to differ in some parts, but I could be wrong. I think it's this way: ... And I love the way you always wake me from those FADED, re-run dreams ... If I could break ground and build a WALL to keep you in AND STAY So innocent and pure, I'd build it that way ... Save you from THAT gradual decline (build it that way) Until the day you left WHEN trust is taken from your heart and mine Keep it alive in your smile ... |

| Porcupine Tree – Sentimental Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I bet the "Trains" ending was put here on purpose. Just remember the words: "Always the summers are slipping away Find me a way for making it stay" I think that both these songs have the same sad emotion, they are full of grief for our childhood days. It's amazing how PT just pulls those feelings out of the depths of our souls and into the open. |

Maaan, the less you say, the more you mean. I think that the most amazing thing brought into music by ISIS is that concept. They tell their stories by music, not by the words. Words just give your mind a nudge in the right direction. Absolutely amazing! |

I really find it hard to believe those guys could sing something even close about Clint. I mean, they sure have had some quality times with him. I think that this song is really "dedicated" to Dez Fafara, "Enemy" was also about him. |

| SikTh – When Will The Forest Speak...? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This needs no explanation, really. As for me - I'm totally amazed at how much thought can be put in music. Sikth are really one of a kind, I've never heard anything even remotely like them. And this poem, this play is just a poetic masterpiece. "Up high in a wave of oxygen love I sit, Up high on this glorified cement postcard I spit." And only look at how much hate these guys have for the urban life! |

| SikTh – Can't We All Dream? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I agree, this song is very moving, very subtle and still, very powerful. I think it's about the world that doesn't let people think different. If someone tries to "dream" about a better, different way, they don't listen to him at all or consider him a lunatic. So can't we all dream? Really, if we can, why don't we? Why are we so afraid to change something inside us and see what will change outside in response? That's what this song is about, I think... |
