I personally think that this song is about a man who loves someone who is afraid to love. In the first verse he begins using "Beyond the sun" as a metaphor for love, and he questions her as to whether she has been in love. In the second verse, he mentionas regretfully that he has fallen in love with her too fast, and she is still lagging behind unsure of where to go. So in the chorus he's asking her to come with him to "A place beyond the sun" or asking her to come and love him and reassure her that it will be better. |
