this song could almost be my favorite song ever. I think it's not about love really. more of the state of life we've become in america at least. like how it says "Here we're nothing more than fools and whores and sad highs." I relate it to the world today, because it's turning into a pathetic wasteland. Sure love's involved in the song, but there's just so much more behind songs than love. but the passion, it's enough to change your life. |

i don't think it's entirely about love. i mean it's the base, but if you really think about it, just like every other song you love a lot.. it can mean so much more. but this is by far my favorite augustana song. and maybe even my favorite song ever. |

I think this song is just talking about a person who died. In a way, I think it's kind of saying one of two things... 1 being someone to us has died that means a lot to us, and no matter what we do we can't bring him back. 2 being the I guess i'm gonna give up, could mean he's gonna give up on trying to bring him back, or he's who the songs about, like when he says I'm sorry if I made you want to cry, as in suicide. whatever the real meaning is, it's amazing. |

I want to say this song doesn't have anything to do with love. I mean really just read it again, while listening to it. It is about someone who feels completely scared of what the future holds and what's to come because of the past they've had and the life they lead. So they just want to die, and they don't want to hurt anyone. But they're so tired of being second guessed and underestimated. i love this song. it explains a part of me not many know. |
