riveroflethe, what came to my mind when i read the lyrics of this song was 9/11. i think dani refers to the chaos it caused, the torment people felt; A dark and sullen lullaby Whispered softly as you die Promising torments are nigh i think this is saying that people pray for there loved ones to be alright and they are just being tormented with promises that they will be ok. these are very moving lyrics and dani has impressed yet again |
