Ok...I'm American, and I'm glad I am....I love bad religion, I love debates about the songs meanings. That said, most the things in this song are absolutely true and certainly need to change. "We enforce our popularity" is the most urgent, i hate to sound like an isolationist, but honestly i don't see how a country not having a democracy is any of our business. We defiantly do not need to stay in any country to help them achieve what our ancestors fought one of the leading countries in the world at the time for. We need to sort our own shit out first.... |

wow black flag, I'm impressed, having lived in NC myself it defiantly takes an out of the state thinker to realize that it might not be a blasphemous meaning (that state has more churches than it has bathrooms) and i must say, i agree with you're comment.
(btw, its always refreshing to find out that there are some intelligent people left in the world, 2 rare to find them in real life.) |

You can have a christian band without every song being christian in nature. and can someone explane 2 me when exactly Marry got chased down by people in black and got saved by people in wearing white? I'm confused about how this video is a biblical message. Also, can anyone tell me, other than using "god works in mysterious ways" why terrible things happen? *(I'm aware that the last part of this has nothing 2 do with the song, i was just interested in hearing peoples responses) |

i was completely unaware they were a religious band (until i popped it into my computer anyway) however it seems odd to me that no one has commented on the obvious, perhaps he's merely noting the fact that Who you are is, in his opinion, what you've done with your life. I'm a fan of this song mainly , the other part being the awesome melodies, because it fits my beliefs. |
