| Fionn Regan – Put a Penny in the Slot Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| In Catholic churches, there is a place in the side of the church where there are penny candles. You make a donation and press a button, and a fake candle comes on. It symbolizes your prayer. | |
| Modest Mouse – Dramamine Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think that the song is about paradox. Dramamine, for motion sickness, is being taken while still travelling, obviously. You could just stop the sickness by, well, stopping. The same with kissing on the mouth, coughing down the sleeve. again with the being killed in a dream. you die, but then you wake up, and have to start living again. There's this sort of illogical ritual to our daily lives that he is pointing out, all in the context of a Dramamine trip. | |
| Martin Sexton – Happy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Blue-eyed soul at its best. | |
| Harry Nilsson – Me and My Arrow Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I love the Point. It is one of the msot brilliant cartoons of all time. At times a bit slow-moving, but Nilsson's soundtrack is incredible, and so is the storyline and animation. | |
| The Six Parts Seven – Sleeping Diagonally (Instrumental Version) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Somehow when you lay here By my side Something whispers words Like rain is falling Heavy and she hated Love too fine Someone heard the sun cracked Sidewalk calling out yoo-hoo Hey, uh ho Sometime I may trade this Bone-tired fist Somewhere in the new Mattress lying Heavy as a healing word and wind Someone heard the sun-cracked Sidewalk calling out yoo-hoo Hey, uh ho Hey, uh ho Hey, uh ho |
