diana is a name mentioned in a few Cradle songs. its mentioned in the V Empire version of the forest whispers my name, and in The rape and ruin of angels?? im not sure, buts definately mentioned in a few, and over a vast spread of albums, i wonder what the significance is?? and this is definately the best track from Thornography |

this song is definately my favourite song by Cradle, but i wouldnt say it makes me orgasm :| Sarah Jezebal Deva is so underrated though, she has an amazing voice, but cos shes fat no one likes her lmao. bit harsh tbh. but yer, fucking amazing song, and along with The Forest Whispers My Name (Principal of Evil Made Flesh version) andd Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids its Cradles best. |

and Hassan i Sabbah kinda makes sense there too. The song in some ways links with Cthulluh Dawn, and Swansong for a Raven links with Her Ghost in the Fog, that to me links the album Nymphetamine with the album Midian, and as far as i know there is no concept to Nymphetamine, i mean, the songs dont link do they?? so yer, everything else by Cradle as far as i know has a concept, so maybe the concept to Nymphetamine is its link to Midian... I'm just chatting shit now though, so i'll shutup. |

isnt the Urilia text got something to do with the Necronomicon?? that would link this song with Babylon AD in a way... but yer... This song reminds me of From The Cradle To Enslave... the lyrics anyway, this song also mentions "Nightchords" and what not... what is a nightchord?? |

yer, i havnt seen that interview, but by looking at the lyrics you can tell its about Cradles past, for example the line "i miss our glorious past" kind of gives it away, unless it has some other meaning?? and of course the lines "in dusks embrace" is obviously refering to Dusk and Her Embrace. "we walk this eden a secret" could also refer to many older Cradle songs, the one that stands out to me is From the Cradle To Enslave.
Cradle changed drasticaly for this album (i prefer the older stuff tbh) and you can tell this is looking back on their past, if im wrong, tell me yeh?? |
