I thought this was supposed to be about what the meaning of this song is, not bashing the band.
Anyway, I think the meaning is obvious. They're singing about the scene and how many people are trying to jump on the bandwagon. The meaning of an arms race in its original usage describes a competition between two or more parties for military supremacy. Therefore, everyone is trying to compete to be the most popular in the scene. |
