Im taking a wild guess but he may be refuring to john frusciante's metaphore in the album "to recored water..." water i think may be a metaphore for happiness, when he says "million miles of water laying beneith this ground" maybe the water (or happiness and possibly sadness) has been lost "but now he found it my dear?" taking a wild guess |

They still freekin got it. I know that alot of this album has to do with releigous veiws and war in the middle east from a recent interview with Neil, but musicly speaking, these guys know how to rock like no other band. Thats why there the best and to record the whole album in only 30 days....damn |

Yea i guess the whole homeless thing makes good sense. The first thing i thought, was the song was about a dude who maybe couldnt read but deep down he was a strong tough mother effer. I think the "...rests his head on a pillow made of concrete" was a metephore for , "dont mess with this dude" And plus the vibe the music gives off is a real tough sensation....makes you wanna kick some ass |

Im sure that alot of the people who listen to this band are musicians....It puzzles me how one can think of writing songs like this, lyricly and musically...i always tell people, being able to play something hard is gratifying, but to be able to think of such things is far beyond harder than actually thinkin of such parts to fit in peices of music like this...pure freekin genious |

I think everyone is right on the idea how people move to LA to pursue somekind of career. But at the same time theres def. some kind of love mixture that really touches you. Very innocent "Tell me lover, are you lonely" something that really makes you smile and happy to be alive |

I agree with everyone's anaylasis on this song, in my world theres only a few songs that touch the heart. That make you feel like younever have before, this whole album makes me feel like i held a girls hand for the first time. Abosolutly awsome...no one better
