It's about a man who lives his life alone, there are girls he wants but that is a two way thing. Girls don't want him so he never has dated, done or whatever to a girl. Even though he has his times of glory it doesn't help. He looks at his life and doesn't like it but he doesn't loose sleep over it. In this song the stoner uses pot to free his mind at night from all his troubles, failures, and shortcomings (especially the loneliness). 99% of the people in this world will never grasp the total effect of this song.
