this is a fantastic cover- well, i love everything that placebo have ever done so... to me it makes me think that the writer has a depressed or suicidal friend, and wants to change places with them- to shoulder their burdens and take their pain from them, and perhaps save their life. "Let me steal this moment from you now." "And if I only could, Make a deal with God, And get him to swap our places" maybe the "running up that road...hill..building" is about how the person takes their life (by jumping off a building etc) i'm not sure. i hate the fact that most people have only heard it because of the OC- thats aggrevating. stupid show- im a 16 year old girl and i dont love it so there! |

it sounds to me like this song is about suicide- or perhaps (because people have it in their heads that its to do with drugs for some reason) an overdose. it makes me think of my girlfriend, who has gone to live far a fricken way from me.................... |
