I think you guys are looking too deep into these lyrics... To me these lyrics sound like it's about a person who has an addiction to a dangerous drug (heroin) and is forced by his own mind to take the drug and "run away" from his problems by going insane for a while. The lines: "Dream, dream your broken dream You'll see the things I never see" hints at the pessimism of this "junkie". |
