i think from this song, shaant is saying that too many people let fame and fortune jeopardize so many other things. he's right by saying "if you lie you don't deserve to have friends" and maybe this is his way of saying selling stories to newspapers makes everyone have an opinion on the person it's about. people make assumptions about celebrities but they do no favours for themselves by getting up to the things they do... |
