I'd never realised it was about Jackson Pollock before, but now listening to the lyrics again I realise how wonderful it is. He talks about leaving his life in style, which is interesting. But then i thought this was amazing: No land just sky it's so serene Your pink fat lips let go a scream You fry and melt I love the scene is he saying that he left his life by crashing his car, which created a piece of art. very abstract. what do you think guys? |

can't believe no one has commented. what a beautiful song. the lyrics are fantastic. I love the last verse: And the old iron bells Still ring in the old machine And will chain me to hell Poison your soul as it seems to rebel Its obscene, stay home and get lean Live in your mind but don't live out your dream seems so sad and against everything the libertines stand for, "dont live out your dream", then he just says: no, oh pay no mind! brilliant. |

Google image search 'Primrose Hill'. Some little beauty has written 'And the views so nice' on the brow of the hill. Awesome. One of the best blur songs lyrically i reckon: "then he puts the TV on, turns it off and makes some tea, says "Modern Life well it's Rubbish, i'm holding of for tomorrow!" Absolute genius. |
