So I thought this song was about having rough sex with someone that you dont love. But yeah. I was obviously wrong. I guess I just got that from the chorus and the line, "When the lights go out you will understand." Meh. |

This song is so meaningful. It's a beautiful love song and Boys Like Girls should be quite proud.
Personally, I think it's about a couple who had a wonderfully strong summer love. They ran into some problems and issues, causing a breakup. Even though the guy knows how much work and hurt it will take to continue a relationship he is ready and willing. All because he is in love with her, and she means everything to him. |
