This song really makes me think. It reminds me of what i'm going through right now.. different circumstances really.. but the same concept. I get this from it: This person really cares about this other person. And he let the person go once but knows what a mistake he had made letting them go and the mistake that he made during the friendship (in my case) but the relationship in this case probably. He just wants things to work so bad but doesn't know if that's possible if that other person will listen. This is how i see it. |

the first time i heard this song it was about 6 in the morning and i saw the video on vh1. at first i was like hmm.. it's okay. but recently i found it on my iPod and fell in love w. it again. i don't know why but the lyrics "i promise you i will learn from my mistakes" just reminds me of something that happened a long time ago. this song to me is about forgiveness and moving on. it has a message of love and it's inspirational. i have to admit i've gotten emotional listening to this song.. because the lyrics really mean something to me and i'm guessing to a lot of people. truly amazing work. i think that if i can remember exactly when i first heard it that means something. |

It's about a guy, who does something wrong. And it was a little thing but she took it to far in the way that she punished, for lack of better word, him. He doesn't understand how she could do this and he loves her but hates what she did to him, he doesn't understand why she would do this and hurt him like that "Why didn't you stop me from turning out this way".. he doesn't want to fight her he just wants her back. That's what i got from it haha. |

| The first time and first line of thist song I was sold. Even now it's got a play count of 400 on my iTunes.. but i'll never forget what i compared it too. I think it's about a guy who doesn't know if his feelings are true for a women. & when he talks about rain he really means he wants the thought to go away that he might not love her.. but it could also mean.. he's madly in love with her. because the verse(s) "to lie here under you is all that i can ever do" can either mean that he's using her for sex or he's madly in love with her and all he wants to do is be with her. |
