I found another version from "Brobdingnagian Bards" which sais: (I only quote the last 2 verses, the missing two days) Now, as I came home on Saturday night As drunk as drunk could be I saw two hands upon her breasts Where my hands ought to be so i called me whife and said to her, "WIll you kindly tell to me, who owns that upon your breasts Where my hands ought to be "aaah, ya drunk ya drunk ya silly old fool, so drunk you cannot see, thats a lovely nightgul that me mother sent to me" "well many's the day i travel, a hundred mile or more, but buttons on a blanket sure I never seen before" And as I came home on Sunday night As drunk as drunk could be I saw a snigger on the back At quarter after three so i called me whife and said to her, "WIll you kindly tell to me, who owns that lastings on the bed At quarter after three That was just a taxman that the queen she sent to me but an english man who could last till 3 I never seen before" Hope it'll be usefull in any context. |
