Second of all, I am convinced this song is about marijuana. You can deny all you want, and say 'it's about fame! they would never do drugs!' I think he is saying here that he needs a hit of a joint, but only a little one, because that will be enough to get him flying high. She's a lovely miss that mary jane. I have heard smoking a joint being reffered to as kissing mary jane. "I got away with murder last night in the parking lot In cold blood I have murdered parts of us that we forgot" Smoking pot kills an amount of brain cells and makes you somewhat forgetful. He smoked pot in a parking lot, and killed his braincells that he has forgotten about. "I will be goin' nowhere I will be going nowhere, nowhere fast " There is this theory that people who smoke pot develop what is called 'Anti motivational syndrome'? Yeah. He doesnt feel he is going anywhere. Racist? It doesnt have anything to do with race. it's about religion, and how so many crazy and hurtful things are done because of it. I have always took it as a song about how religion is destroying us. |
