| Taking Back Sunday – A Decade Under The Influence Lyrics | 18 years ago |

152 is the exit they used to take to go to shows. and about the song, it's not about john. it's about an ex girlfriend. i get what you guys are saying about the "we used to be this dying breed" but that's actually a line from the original lyrics of Bonus Mosh Pt. II. they cut it and put it in this song. |

alrighty guys well hear are the real lyrics for this version. no, it's not the same as on wywtb. they wrote this and performed it on IMX before changing it up for the record. so scream we used to be this dying breed, subtle but elite. method actress forfeit or compete. he said it's all about a war. so scream loud, i'm bound. i'm bound to come around, i'm bound to. i'm bound to come around again. but can't you, can't you feel it? rolling off your lips? tensing up your shoulders? come on. |

| Taking Back Sunday – ...Slowdance on the Inside Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| to the girl up there who keeps asking if adam is gay or bi, NO. okay? but that doesn't really help you. because he's engaged. | |
| Taking Back Sunday – Little Devotional Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| if you listen to that part, it actually says "just keep quiet, she'll pay attention." not and pay attention. but anyways, that part is just talking about how gentlemen shouldn't be asking ladies questions, because its impolite. they show how they feel by keeping quiet. kind of like the cold shoulder. she'll notice. and then in saying "we could pay attention", he's saying that they don't have to ask questions because they can find out all they need to by just watching what's going on carefully. | |
| Fall Out Boy – Sugar, We're Goin Down Lyrics | 19 years ago |

here's some more lyrics that aren't in there: (in the backround of lyrics sung at 2:50 in the song) i take aim at myself. take back what you said. take aim at myself. |

| Taking Back Sunday – What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i think this song is about him being dead on the inside and invisible to the rest of the world. his girl keeps asking him what it feels like and he's avoiding the question. in the first verse, i think it's saying that she's trying to talk problems out with him and by going for the neck he just avoids it and kisses her. |

| Taking Back Sunday – Twenty-Twenty Surgery Lyrics | 19 years ago |

actually, i think it really does have to do with eyes. they're talking about fixing eyesight as a way of mocking that people are oblivious to some things and they need to look at what's right in front of them. and i think when he says "the view from this side's.." he's saying that it's not how he thought it would be. talking about the children is just a way to talk about saving the people who haven't gone through what he has yet. |

| Taking Back Sunday – Miami Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i really agree with blairstheory. i mean it could be a coincidence with how he says it but it sounds like he's trying to convince a girl that he's not the same person he used to be. and the little part about faith is saying that he's never felt that about a person and he's scared now that he's never going to get the chance. and all he wants is for her to let go of his past and start new. | |

ok this is definitely about him and a girl after they've had sex. and he knows she's been cheating on him but he won't ask questions because he just knows from paying attention. but he knows and that's why he's egging her on about doing it better than he does. and the picturing her in blue is referring to choking her but he's sensitive to the red of her blushing, because it tells him that he's right after all and she was cheating. oh and i can add to the lyrics up there. in ther backround of fred saying "do you think he'd be better at doing what i do best?" adam is saying "cause we're down for competition" .. and then he says "this could all be on purpose." but i have a question. does anyone know what the backround singer is saying during the first time adam says the lines: "but gentleman, they don't ask questions." i just can't figure it out. |

| Taking Back Sunday – Cute Without The 'E' (Cut From The Team) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| the "thousand clever lines unread on clever napkins" is a reference to his girlfriend's date with someone else.. get it.. the lipstick marks. and yeah i mean the whole song's obviously about someone cheating on him and he won't ask about it unless she brings it up. but i think it's also saying that she's completely aware that she's killing him and doesn't stop and he can't let go. | |
| Taking Back Sunday – I Am Fred Astaire Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| so who's bree ann? because that's who the song is about. it's in the original lyrics and also, when adam says "we get it, we get it .." it doesn't say we got it all. it says "we get it, we get it... oh, bree ann" listen for it. it's only the second time they repeat that line for each chorus | |
| Panic! at the Disco – London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i think this song's just about making it big and the media can try to get control of them but they're still just a "wet dream" because they won't be able to talk about them. and they're saying either like us or ignore us, because when you talk shit you better be able to back it up. and he's trying to bite his tongue and back off.. but it feels better to say what he wants to "you know it feels good with fire back on your tongue." i know this because in the lyrics that were cute out it says "this happens when you keep your mouth shut." | |
| Panic! at the Disco – Camisado (Relax, Relapse) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| yeah i agree with you. ryan wrote this song about his father. and at first i was like whoa, because the "can't take this kid from the fight..." is usually said the other way around. but then i realized it was mocking it and his dad completely took away his drive. and about the "apathy and urgency" he's definitely trying to say that he's calling out for attention but his dad's not giving him any since he's the emergency himself. and by just sitting back and ignoring him, he's wrecking everything ryan wants. | |
| Panic! at the Disco – But It's Better If You Do Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| yeah, that explains the video but that's not what the song was written about. i think the song is about him leaving a girl after a fight and pretending that he could get someone else very easily. and then making her jealous by saying he's right where she wants him before he admits that's not how he is. "i wouldn't be caught dead in this place" | |
| Panic! at the Disco – Build God, Then We'll Talk Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| one more idea. since they keep referring to the hotels and how gross they are and how uncatholic, and saying "along with the people inside" that they really disapprove of the lack of intimacy and everyone who hits the hotels for that reason is all the same. and people are drawn to them but all the death talk about the hotels is meaning that you are dead inside once you enter, because you become like everyone else. | |
| Panic! at the Disco – Build God, Then We'll Talk Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i think this song's about taking someone to a room. and she's only doing it because she needs the job, that's why they're talking about getting a job at the firm come monday. and after she has sex with him she clashes with the badge, which is talking about the law firm. and the new "purse" is her suitcase. and the chorus is basically mocking how un-intimate love has become. AND BY THE WAY. that whole ffs...666... thing is completely off haha. they only say that because in vegas there actually is a hotel on the corner of fourth and fremont street. it's called the plaza hotel. |

| Panic! at the Disco – There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i'm pretty sure the cancer reference is about how he's the new thing that's becoming a well-known disaster. i say that considering how the song is about a confrontation with an ex somewhere and she's just pissed about how far he's come and how people don't like her. like when he's talking about the whispering campaign.. they're all talking about her. and she's getting more and more jealous. | |
