| i recently saw a cutting from "hamlet" and the place i saw it did a more up-to-date version of it, and during a scene where ophelia and hamlet are together, they played this song and it was... one of the most touching moment's i've ever seen within a play, a movie, or in real life. i will always remember that moment as i listen to this beautiful, beautiful song. | |

i like this version of the song more than i do the other. "if you feel the sudden urge to escape a fast car and your favorite mix tape runaway if you feel that you're needing to cry run to these arms they wont ask you why wipe your eyes" has to be my favorite part of the entire song. it makes me want to melt into a mass of human + tears. personal reasons, but yeah. & i'm pretty sure the song is self-explanatory. |

i'm relating to this song right now. i feel as if i could have written it. when everything is going hectic, you just want a place to escape and that's what he's doing in the beginning. but throughout the song and near the end he realizes he can't help everyone, and he's just running from the problems. and he's given up trying. |
