I don't think this song is about alcohol. It's just about giving something up something and 'it's never really over.' the way i see it it's like something tramatic happened to her and she gave something up. This song is the best on the album, it shows so much pain, you can hear it in her voice. I like these lines: 'Three months and I still am Three months and it’s still harder now Three months I’ve been living here without you now.' My favourite is 'three months and i still am.' |

I think this song is about wanting someone and I agree with dhobden. I think the last line shows that maybe he wants her to be happy to see him. Everytime I hear the last chorus (I'm going back to 505..) I get misty eyed at the bit when he goes 'side'. I dunno why. |

This is one of my favourite songs from the album. I can relate to this song because rescently my friend just dropped me. I felt so angry and betrayed since I helped her. The meaning is pretty obvious, it's about a person betraying her and she just felt so angry and betrayed. |

I love this song. To me this is about a guy and he is love with her and can't take his eyes of her, hense the: 'Whenever she looks i read the nearest paper.' Since he doesn't want her to see him because he gets embarassed. By saying he is acting like he's in an Eastender's episode, he is saying that everything is far fetched. At the end he is trying to say that love is not some a comedy and it's not like it is it books and films and that everything doesn't have a happy ending. I'll be listening to this song all summer long. |

For me this song is about sucicide, or giving up on something. This person is trying to say all I need is no, and 'say it if it's worth saving me'. This could mean that the person is trying to say, say it if I should live, or say that you love me if it is worth it. the next bit: 'Heaven’s gates won’t open up for me With these broken wings I’m fallin’ And all I see is you These city walls ain’t got no love for me I’m on the ledge of the eighteenth story' If you comitt suicide, you go to hell, 'Heaven’s gates won’t open up for me' and 'with these broken wings I'm falling.' At the end he is saying, I'm on the building and I might jump off. Regardless of the meaning, this is a really good song. |

I think that this song is about a girl dreaming of this guy or her 'Saviour' who she will fall in love with and he will love her back and they'll live happily ever after. And she finds this guy, but he's not really the one, but he's good enough, 'he doesn't look a thing like Jesus [i.e he's not her saviour], but he talks like a gentleman.' And at the end she just accepts him, 'he doesn't look a thing like Jesus/ But more that you'll ever know. |
