I agree pretty much with the above comment. Lyriccorrection: "When your own have died When there's no more pride When your soul is frozen Is that enough? When your heart is broken A thousand times With every moment Is that enough?" Copypastad from http://www.disturbedpedia.net/lyrics/indestructible.html#enough |

@above comment Noone escapes the gentle touch of hypocricy, not even you mister. And that muslim-post poster may be entitled to have his opinion, but if I would meet him face to face while he said that, I'd still kick his ass mentally for being retarded. Anyway, as many people have said here, this song pretty much says "FUCK OFF" to all those who try to impose their ways onto others, IMHO that including but not limited to shit like Jehovas Witnesses and random fanatics. I strongly dislike those kinds of people due to their stupidity. |

| System of a Down – Science (feat. Arto Tunçboyacıyan) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
As an atheist myself I can say I have faith in humanity, luck and PS3. The only possible religion I could think of ever having, is the same as the native americans, they belived in nature and had a deep respect for it. (I dont count Buddhism as a religion, more like a guide to life). Cristianity does not have that respect for nature, and has so many stupid ideas that were made by some drunkard when humans hearts were easilly decived. If someone like Jesus would step up today and spread his ideas, he would have been taken as a lunatic and been put behind barrs for a night. And for those who hopes Serj has any modern religious (christianity and so on) belives, read and cry. :P http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/43416 As for science. Unlike christianity, science can be trusted, but shall not be overrated or abused like modern religions are. Example, I have faith in that humanity can deal with the global warming problem with the science we have today. Faith in christianity, islam, and judaism leads humanity to hate and kill eachother before we have a chance to do so. No matter WHAT the holy scripts say. |

| HammerFall – Dark Wings, Dark Words Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Dark wings" is humanitys symbol for a baaaaad person. "Dark words" are the words that can decive humans hearts. Basically, this song could refer to religion, in which there are tales of a world, not so far away ("Heaven" seen from a religious perspective), and dark messengers who spread their dark words (lies) to satisfy their own goals in life. And the phrase "How could we be so blind?", well, does that need any other explanation than how the hell could we be so blind to belive that bullshit? Allthough some of the parts in the song can refer to the lies many politicians use to win elections and other propaganda they spread. Example, the bullshit that made George W Bush elected to president... and AGAIN! Now THERE is a man with dark wings spreading dark words. Together with his other dark winged pals in the US. |

| HammerFall – Threshold Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
THIS, is poetry. The only time we can expand for real into the universe, is when we all stand united for that one goal. "The gate is open, lift the curse" Could refer to the most problematic curse humanity has: Hate. Put that away and we will be able to cross the threshold of the gate in our way to whatever we seek. But we cant take on that challenge if we dont put away our differences and unite ("We are one, we will unite"). Then there are a shitload more in the text im to lazy to interpret. |
