The song isn't a joke, FM suffered Aids induced dementia. He died shortly after Innuendo was released, and his Dementia was in full swing slightly prior to its release. Hmmm, seems pretty clear to me. |

This song is from TWO points of view, both of whom are referred to as "loverboy". Which part is which is left ambiguous. It's about a gay couple unless you want to claim "loverboy" is a girl, it's just hidden because FM hadn't come out of the closet to the public yet. It's primarily about the death of romance however. Are you guys joking? Freddie was a Zoroastrian, the "miracle" he's referring to is a complete disappearance of religion and its trappings. The song is meant in a sarcastic tone. That's why terms are mixed and some of his miracles seem like bad things (test tube babies with no parents, the tower of babel etc.) Come on guys, look a little closer than to the upbeat tune before you conclude what it's about |
