i actually happen to know what this song is about. it is about when ryan was younger, hopefully all of you know this, but his dad was an alcoholic. and, he had checked into a rehab. so, doesn't this song make sense? it's about his dad in rehab. |

my take on this is that she is talking about a break up. but, with a twist. she's got a mental disorder. so, it's combining the above two theories. but, it makes sense. a person with a mental disorder, such as bipolar(which i do have), are more prone to take things less lightly. they may over react, and because of the break up, her mental disorder may have caused a big distress in her mind. hence, why the chorus is the way it is. her disorder got so bad, the drugs don't work anymore. so, it couldn't be contained, so he could have called her crazy because of that. wow, i actually feel smart. |
