I should probably inform you all at this point that this song is a cover of the original Heartbeats written by a rather scary electronica band in Sweden called the Knife, check it out if you dare. May ruin the song for you, may not. Take your chances.
So as for all your indepth analysis, the Swedes who wrote it undoubtedly had no idea of any significance in the words as from listening to the track, I can tell that they most certainly don't speak English. |

Makes me cry every single time without fail, it's so beautifully written. His voice is utterly enchanting. Also a convert to Joshua after seeing the montage with this song and the death of a characters best friend on Scrubs. Don't be listening to this when feeling down |
