"covered in hope and vaseline still cannot fix this broken machine" vaseline is a lubricant, he is trying to "fix this broken machine". I dont believe it is sexual in any nature. :p |

| Nine Inch Nails – Down in It Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I think everyone looks into this song deeper than it really is. From NINWiki: "In a 1994 radio broadcast biography of Reznor, it was said that "Down In It" was inspired by a relationship that had then recently ended for him with a woman named Krissy. Reznor has openly admitted that this song "was a total rip-off of 'Dig It' by Skinny Puppy." |

| Nine Inch Nails – Corona Radiata Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This is best song on the album. Your theory about this being related to demon seed seems to be right to me. Copy and paste this link to read What corona radiata means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corona_radiata_(embryology) I'm not sure if this album was meant to be a continuation from the story that was on Year Zero, but it seems like it to me. This track (especially the way it follows Lights in the Sky) makes me imagine that the presence (aliens, whatever) have finally acted. However, their intentions to warn us to be a better race were not good intentions at all, and the human race is about to become a slave race. This track sounds like their actions - warming up and making their move. This track is very spacey and almost *sounds* like a space ship to me. Although I do not think this is the birth, I think it is conception. |

| Nine Inch Nails – Sunspots Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| lol, I don't like to peg a song as being related to drugs, but I always thought thats what this song could refer too. Especially with the lines, "She turns me on, she makes me real, I have to apologize for the way I feel". Being on the album "With Teeth" always helped that assumption of mine simply because of what the title track was about. | |

| Anyone know what is screamed by the chick at the beginning? | |
| Nine Inch Nails – In This Twilight Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Saying that seeing the sun for the last time doesn't mean the sun is going to be destroyed, but that whoever is watching the sun know that they are going to die. Or, there is that a large enough explosion or catastophe could block out the sun for a long period of time when it enters the atmosphere. |

| Disturbed – Mistress Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I didn't think this song was necessarily about one specific relationship. The people (and situation) he ends up with feel likes a 'mistress' of burden, because he can't seem to be happy with any of them. | |
| As Fast As – Vacation Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is when they were still Rocktopus. :) | |
| Godsmack – Moon Baby Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Bleh listening to it more sounds like "I always said I'd never feel this way again, but I just keep making the same fucking mistakes over and over and over... I can't believe I thought this would be over" *shrug* |

I'm sorry for you, offdutyninja =p Anyway, the stuff around 3:20 sounds like: "I always said I'd never feel this way again, but I just keep making the same fucking mistakes over and over and over again" then the scream. |

Typical Rob Zombie ;) The lyrics to the song "Foxy Foxy" include a reference to Lon Chaney, Sr.'s "He Who Gets Slapped" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Zombie |

| Everclear – Fire Maple Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Best Everclear song ever. If you ever see the acoustic version floating around online, listen to it. It's better than the studio version. | |
