While I realize that this song is about Hollywood being fake, I think it could also be interpreted on a more personal level. "I'm looking at you through the glass... Don't know how much time has passed Oh god it feels like forever But no one ever tells you that forever Feels like home sitting all alone inside your head" It could be about a person they loved but haven't seen for a long time and now they've changed and the singer's really distressed about it. Just a thought. |

A vibraphone is in the beginning, actually. It rings more as xylophones are more... clinky. Heh. The harp sounds more oriental to me. I think what you mean by the middle eastern sound is a duduk. |
