| this song is overall describing how ppl can be full of shit sometimes. the first verse about the rag weed and the battle at the bottom of the ocean talks about how when at the top ppl focus on falling but when at the very bottom of everything, the bottom the ocean, the lowest of low, ppl focus on rising up. its contradictory. The clock in the cage is the same thing. its a scam, like many of those contests like that are. you cant win. The book of blue is the same thing, you cant win, ur just gonna die no matter what. i think this song is talking about global warming. think about it. "No matter what stupid sort of mission you're on Well, you're not invisible inside your car" Cars are a factor in causing global warming, and when isaac is talking about being inviible he means not having an effect on anything. He is saying it doesn't matter what you are doing in your car you are still hurting the environment. "Well, we were never invisible but that I guess we could not see" We thought that they weren't harming the environment in what we were doing, but we are. We thought we were not affecting anything, or were invisible, but in truth we are and we could not see it. "We'll get crushed by the ocean But it will not get us wet" The ocean will rise up and destroy a lot of land all over the world because of global warming. |

i thought that this song was about spreading rumors. Like the parking lot is the source. "Well aren't you feeling real dirty Sitting in the parking lot" Like don't you feel bad for starting this huge fake rumor. "That bleed out on the highways and Off to other cities built to store and sell There's nothing" To me this meant a rumor spreading, or bleeding, far off. Bleeding is used because its usually associated with pain, and rumors can be painful. And then Isaac says theres nothing, because more often than not rumors aren't true. And the part about convenient parking is sometimes its convenient to start a rumor and hurt someone for personal gain, even though its wrong. Like parking in the handicapped spot in a parking lot- its convenient and easier, but its wrong and you are hurting someone else for personal gain. |

i believe its about how things in the world can have a control over us, and how i tcan lead to our downfall. "you dissappeared so often like you dissolved into coffee are you here right now or are there probably fossils under your meat" coffee is addicting, and many people become dependent on it to function. he then asks if the person is living, or if they are dead from being trapped/controlled. when Brock talks about the air and ocean benig our coffins he is saying how seemingly harmless things can be suffocating or drowning, while possibly not literally air or the ocean. "the world is our coffin" this is saying how so many things have the potential to control us or trap us. |
