Firstly, it's called "Moab" (people could at least get the real titles before sticking lyrics up here *sigh*) Anyways, ParkerEloise, it's exactly what it says. If 10 is everything he is, and 0 is everything he isn't, is what the person likes less than 5 (as in, they like more of what he's not than what he is)... Love this song, love the whole album actually =P |

Beautiful song. The only part of the lyrics I couldn't quite work out was "That what flows under our feet bled into the sea" But after listening I'm almost sure it's "When the flows under our feet bled into the sea". Very subtle difference, and to be honest it doesn't make much difference =P Oh and TDDx8 - Great job on getting all of these lyrics down, I was going to do it myself but they were already here (still went through the album and worked them out myself though =D). Damn, this is a great album, shall have to actually pay for it when it comes out officially ;P |

BFMV songs are too easy to interpret, relationship that went wrong, he left, now he's coming back, wonders if she still remembers him in a good way, etc. Also, does anybody else think this has a bit of a Funeral For a Friend sound to it? Reminds me a lot of them. |

This is a great cover. It's what a cover is supposed to be, a band's own interpretation of the song. I don't like how quick the "Too many people, making too many problems" pre-chorus is, but the rest is excellent. Disturbed's version is almost completely different, but is brilliant in its own right. |

vpdotcom - actually made me lol =D The song: I feel it's about how we all believe everything's going to work out fine with the earth, despite how we can clearly see the coming storm (global warming, poverty etc.) I think the chorus (I grant you this torn land, I'd rather not live here anymore) is just that. Earth is screwed, so someone else can take it while we're all off away from the idiots who refuse to administer the antidote our planet needs, to do something somewhere else. |

Argh, I put a heart thing that had a great than and a 3 in it, and it cut out the message at that =( This song is brilliant, not really sure what it's about, but it seems to be about someone who has realised that, his whole life, exactly what he needed (his utopia) was close enough to get to, but he never did. By the way, "worldwide" should be "worthwhile" ;) |

Just because it's different doesn't mean it's bad. Whether a song is good or not depends on your personal taste. I love this song, I love their old stuff and new stuff just the same, but old/new IF is like 2 different bands. This album is DIFFERENT than their old stuff, not neccessarily worse. Saying it is terrible because they have changed their direction, is like me saying 'Oh I hate softer music (Feeder/Rise against etc.) because it's different from other stuff'. Although I suppose that in the case of different bands, BOTH types of music continue to be produced, but in the case of IF changing, only one type is made... |
