| Simple Plan – Addicted Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The intro to this sounds very much to me like the intro to Sweet Child O Mine by Guns N Roses | |
| Brandi Carlile – The Story Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I really like this song which is kinda unusual because of the cliche lines. Even though 'i was made for you' and the whole 'mountain tops' 'ocean blue' thing, but I think it's so popular because it truly gives the voice a time to shine. The music is downplayed and her voice is the main thing and I think we are ready for that.... tired of the other crap. | |
| Skye Sweetnam – Billy S Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I don't hear Benvolio, even though that makes the most sense. I looked up the lyrics on several other sites and found "my volio' 'mavolio' and 'malvolio', and also 'benvolio'. I think it may be 'malvolio'. Even though this isn't a "deep" song, I think she changed the 'ben' (meaning good ex: benevolent) in 'benvolio' to 'mal' (meaning bad ex: malpractice) because she hates school, even though benvolio is a good character she doesn't want to learn about making him "bad". It may require some thought to do this, and this song clearly is a one level song, but I think even very dumb people could see this, as many of you think shes dumb. I like the song, and I think it's very understandable. To say she's immature and dumb and should appreciate school is dumb. How many people like school? We should be grateful, but were not because we are forced to go, and a lot of us (including me) don't want to. |

| The White Stripes – Little Cream Soda Lyrics | 18 years ago |

interesting that they have another 'little' song on the new album. As someone pointed out (in little acorns i believe) they have a 'little' song on almost, if not all, of their albums. I can't wait for this one to come, it sounds really cool, esp. this song, I think it will be the best. The song to me reads like it's nostalgia for a younger age when you didn't have anything to worry about, except maybe ice cream. The 'each beautiful...' sounds like everyone is telling him to stop worrying and just keep going. In the end with his 'oh well' it seems that is just the advice he takes. |

| Porcelain and the Tramps – King of the World Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I just noticed, which is kinda dumb and everyone else probably noticed, she says shes the king of the world, but shes actually girl, making her the queen. I'd like the song better if it said queen cause I'm a girl. | |
| Porcelain and the Tramps – King of the World Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Ok, I definatly hear creeping also. Now that that's out of the way, I really like this song. It's so energizing, and I love it. But does anyone else think she sounds like Ashlee Simpson? Especially during the chorus, maybe not in the rest of the song, but she sounds identical to Ashlee Simpson in the chorus. Who is the lead singer? | |
| Moonpools And Caterpillars – Heaven Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This seems like a really good song to play at a funeral. I like it a lot, and first heard it on the movie Wish Upon A Star, watch it, it's good too. | |
| Billy Currington – Good Directions Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so, so cute. I love it. It's very obvious about the meaning, I mean you can't make it anymore simple-ier. It would be better if it was this Texas heat though. | |
| Modest Mouse – Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I don't think this song is about literal suicide, because if you're killing yourself you can't tie yourself too tight. I also wanted to throw out there that homecoming is around October, while Prom is around May, so you can't have a bad tempered prom queen at a homecoming dance since the queen must be a senior, and therefore, would have graduated and not be allowed into the homecoming dance. Another question I raise is, if you blanket your opinion how do you regret it? No one else knows it, and I can understand to a point how you could regret it but it doesn't make much sense. My favorite part is: I've changed my mind so much I cant even trust it My mind changed me so much I cant even trust myself and the part about blaming this town, etc., but in the end it's myself. |

| Modest Mouse – She Ionizes and Atomizes Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this song is about light in general, not really that deep in my opinion. I think people who write songs laugh at us when we try to turn it into something more. I'd laugh. | |
| Modest Mouse – Four Leaf Clover Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I've listened to it again and I think it says: after the first i'm down: They pick the shit up off the ground then the second I'm down: Alright God's putting your past behind you, ok go. This isn't over I got a four leaf clover. However at the 3:33 mark I think it says This isn't over, I think they're sitting on the ground |

I definatly think it's saying this isn't over, I've got a four leaf clover (which would make sense with the off the ground part). I aslo think that part that is almost completely unable to be understood says something about God putting your past behind you. I hear God the second time, but not the first and I hear past behind you both times. |

| Sheryl Crow – If It Makes You Happy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song reminds me of drugs, because one day, long ago my friend told me she smoked pot (for the first time), and i asked her what it was like and she said it made her happy (she was really depressed tho about something else when she told me), and I thought to myself the chorus of this song. | |
| Josh Turner – Baby's Gone Home To Mama Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This gives me a kind of 50's Elvis feel. It's a good song, and I love his really deep voice. The song is very self explanatory. | |
| Josh Turner – Lord Have Mercy On A Country Boy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't think it's supposed to be damned, but dammed, as in like an industrial dam. | |
| Modest Mouse – Baby Blue Sedan Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"And I shot the story because I didn't hear it that way" I always thought this said, And I shot the stork cause I didn't hear it anway. It may not fit with the rest of the song, but I think I like my screwy-hearing version more. |

| Mates of State – Separate the People Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I'm not sure when this song was written (before or after the whole Iraq war) because I haven't looked much into it, but to me it sounds alot like Bush and the war. "We will get inside his head And we will tell him how to leave a bitter land" His being President Bush and the bitter land refering to the Middle East, which has always been fighting over land. "And all the shame he made in you You are the bigger man" Many people disliked the war and didn't support the war efforts causing "shame" for the soldiers. You are the bigger man (being bigger than Bush) for actually fighting on the front lines. "It's time to separate the people from the men who disregard them" The President and Congress sending the soldiers over there are the men disregarding, acting as if it is nothing. This line could possibly suggest it is time for a revolution. |

| Placebo – Blind Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I not sure but to me "Don’t go and leave me And please don’t drive me blind" means that he loves her and that if she leaves him he will never be able to see anything the way he used to. |
