Whilst the portrayal of a sour relationship is suiting to the lyrics, I remember learning somewhere that it this song is about a stalker of Chino's. The spoken introduction goes something like this Push ? code 6-1 Do those things work? It's a hella sensitive Which refers to phone codes that block the callers number. I think the song is a sarcastic sarcastic/vehement address to said stalker. The first verse being somewhat cynical, derisive portrayal of the stalker's delusions. The chorus refers to the silence of the telephone calls of the stalker. 'somethings wrong with you' refers to the inherently unhealthy occupation of a stalker and 'i hope we never do meet again' expressing wishes to never personally meet the stalker. Not really sure how the second verse relates to this meaning though. |
