This is a typical amazing dave song. He is absolutly im love with a girl. As to what he is talking about when he says: "I'm too old to be sitting here, but I'm not going to pull your hair." "Wish I could clean out my head. / What if you could read what's inside my head, you'd run screaming away... but I'm no danger my friend." "Wish we lived long, long ago, so I'd get away with loving you this much." I think it can be interpited in many different ways. maybe he is wishing he is a kid again, or maybe he is inlove with a young lady. What makes me think that is when he said "Wish we lived long, long ago, so I'd get away with loving you this much." In my personal oppinion i think he is saying that it is not acceptable for him to love this girl, but it was a long time ago. so maybe its the age difference, because long ago, it was not weird for people to fall in love even when they had a huge age difference. I dont think age difference is a bad thing. And i think that is what this song is about. not is a pedafile way, it a way that he is in love. |
